HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS MET WITH COMMUNICATION WORLD

Communication Workshop was very active and entertaining for high school students from Izmir. The Communication Workshop, organized by the Faculty of Communication of Izmir University of Economics, was held on January 15-16.

Twelfth grade students from various high schools in İzmir attended the Communication Workshop organized jointly by the Faculty's Media and Communication, Public Relations and Advertising, and Cinema and Digital Media departments.

In the advertising studio, a campaign was designed for students which emphasized the importance of İzmir in education and who wanted to come to Izmir from outside the city. In the media workshop, two days of study, television broadcasting, speech techniques, shooting and editing, lighting and radio program was applied. The students of the creative documentary workshop produced three short documentary films. 

This year, Cengiz Aytmatov, Nevvar Salih İşgören, TAKEV, Türk Koleji, Bornova Uğur Asırlık, Narlıdere Cahide Dalyanoğlu, Güzelbahçe Cengiz Topel, Bornova Çimentaş, MEV Avni Akyol, Kent Koleji and Gaziemir Anadolu Lisesi students attended the Communication Workshop. Since 2012, the Communication Workshop has been organized by Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Communication every January.
