Course Objectives This course aims to improve the basic video production skills by using different expertises of post-production process.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Combine digitally generated visual elements and videos.
  • Expressing different emotions out of same footages by using storytelling tools
  • Producing thematic contents with visual continuity, weight balance and rhytym
  • By using color correting and grading tools, enhancing the emotion of the content
Course Description This course aims to provide the required knowledge on different disciplines of post-production.

3 Exercise: Dummy video out of a text

6 Exercise: Editing a fiction. Exporting the project to another Program by using XML and EDL
7 Intro to DaVinci Resolve: Color theory, visible spectrum, color tempratures, color palette, complementary and analogous colors
8 Exercise: Color correction and grading
9 Exercise: Creating a color palette
10 Exercise: Matching the colors and creating the final 'look'
11 Intro to After Effects: Layer based komposition, interface, creating project, masking and rotoscop
12 Exercise: Keyframe and animation
13 Exercise: Motion tracking, greenbox, alpha and luma keying
14 Exercise: Compositing practise
